In the filling process, liquid medicine drop is a problem that often occurs. On the one hand, it will affect the filling accuracy of our products, and on the other hand, it will also affect our production environment. Under normal circumstances, when filling drip occurs, we can deal with the following aspects:
(1) Adjust the re-attraction in the formula. Note that the bigger the better, you can insert a transparent silicone tube into the needle, and look at it to suck up about 3MM.
(2) See if our actual product characteristics are low density and viscous. This kind of product cannot be filled with a plunger pump to achieve re-suction. It can only be filled with a peristaltic pump. This is because of the plunger pump. The tightness is not as good as that of a peristaltic pump.
(3) Check whether the slow filling position is too high. If the liquid level of the slow filling exceeds the liquid inlet of our pump too much, there will be liquid level pressure at the needle position, causing dripping.
